We boast a strong musical tradition at Arkholme School and are delighted to offer an exciting enrichment provision for all pupils in music. Indeed, one of our former pupils and incredibly talented pianist and musician, Jason Ridgway, gained the runner-up position in the BBC Young Musician of the Year award in 1992.
Music Tuition
Andy Warriner provides peripatetic music tuition every Friday during school time, teaching brass, woodwind and keyboard.
Singing Club and Young Voices
Our KS2 teacher, Mrs Burgess, runs our school choir rehearsals for KS2. These take place after school on a Monday and we welcome members of our local communitycoming to join us.
Music Lessons
Emma Williams from Lancashire Music Service comes into school every Monday afternoon to teach the children about all aspects of music in a creative and fun way.
