Our School is part of the Lune Valley Small Schools Cluster, alongside Melling St. Wilfred, Tatham Fells, Hornby St Margaret’s, Leck St Peter’s, Caton St Paul’s, Caton Community, Wilson’s Endowed Over Kellet, Wray with Botton and Abbeystead. These partnerships ensure that we do not work in isolation and enhance our provision through curriculum initiatives, sporting events and enrichment projects.
Through the Lune Valley cluster, our pupils have opportunities to participate in a range of competitive sporting opportunities. The staff within the cluster also meet regularly to review the curriculum, assessment procedures and moderate pupil attainment. This time is very valuable and strengthens our school improvement and self-evaluation.
